Good point on the need of a filter because my splitter does not have one. Would most or all non-professional or non-commercial grade splitters come stock with a filter? I have checked Northern Tools filters and surveyed possible areas to mount one. Would splitting 2-4 cords a season at home only still be a good idea? Maintenance has all ways been a priority with machinery but I would hate to spend the bucks if it's not enhancing the use or life of the machinery with my level of use. How often would it be recommended to change the element? Is there a minimal in-line filter that you know a link to, since this splitter was not designed with a mounted filter? Ewalk and All: Would seasoning wood in Canada in a shed be slower and last longer than in the open TX sun and rain? I was very surprised (mid 80s) when I lost some quality cut and split Post Oak in 2-3 years. I feel Live Oak will last longer. I was into burning Post Oak stumps then as All Nighters and junk wood 1st because they held so well. I could get 4' X 7' X 3' high utility trailer loads free (due to being left as junk by others). Other cutters cut them just above the ground and the dozer cut them about 16"-18" below the ground. With an ax only there was very little to no work needed on the trunk. I do think you need to add more to them, they are completely outweighed by the mirror. I would add more twigs, but be sure to vary the heights a bit more so you get a fuller effect lower on the sides. When you are ready to bind them, first do it with a rubber band, further up on the twig bundle as you did the second attempt. Then, go to the craft store and get some aluminum 12 gauge craft wire in silver. Wrap them at the binding point a number of times, so that the silver wrap really shows and is several inches in width. It will give them an accent in silver that will connect with the mirror. The wire is inexpensive and easy to use, cut with wire cutters or pliers. You can also buy it on Amazon: silver wire You want the heavier 12 gauge, so that it looks like something. In wire gauges, the lower the number, the bigger the wire.

Thanks. Wouldn't change a thing. It's a 13 X 13 square with a 6 foot triangle cut off one of the corners, so about 151 square feet. It's the biggest town would allow 10 feet off property line. We have cold water only; going to add a point of use water heater this summer to feed a sink in the kitchenette, and an outside shower along the right side of the cabana. Using a dry well only drain, no sewer. No bathroom, too much $$ to run the plumbing. We are putting in a bathroom by our screened porch that will accessible from outdoors. We have a Jandy heater, had to, hot tub.....

Hi, Jerry. i might save my seeds until I get home after Thanksgiving away. At my sons in cold GA. Part of the problem with my last seeds, was that I had an unintended vacation, in the hospital, while they were germinating. Then another planned long weekend away. So I want to be here the whole time. I'll start them when I get home. It has been 90 degrees here everyday for a week. And no rain for 3 weeks. That might change over the weekend. Then the squirrels, or someone else, knocked over and damaged some of my seedlings. They were a mess this morning. I hope I saved them all. One needed major surgery and cinnamon, and is set out to dry.
