mammapinky Yes, they are. I did that on purpose. I wanted a different illusion than just the mirrors hanging, if that makes sense. I want the mirrors and curtains anchoring the bed, like a headboard. Thank you! To everyone mentioning the mirror height, don't tell my husband! (lol) He absolutely hates hanging curtains, shelves, mirrors and paintings. haha I'll have to wait to the weekend or a day we both have the time and we shall raise them. I'll have to ease him into it. ;) Should they go the same height as the curtains? Try warming with golds, oranges or peachy tones.

The doors on either end are eliminating a lot of storage space. Ideally, one would move one door to the center of the "closet", get rid of the other entirely and have a great walk in closet. I presume you don't want to do that so I'd curtain off one or the other end and add storage there.

We’re remodeling my in-laws home for our family to move into. The master bedroom is knotty pine walls, our entire bedroom set is newly bought and rustic black with natural wood top. I’ve attached 2 pictures for reference. Painting the wood isn’t an option or getting new furniture, but I’m desperately needing tips on how to make this all go together?? Any ideas on which carpet color to choose? Bedding options to maybe make it flow? Curtain colors? Good color scheme? I’m open to all advice!
