I think the wall you are thinking about is the only place for the bed. Don't worry about centering it, just make sure you have enough room on either side for nightstands if you have them. That door is very strange and when budget allows, I'd close it off and extend the closet. I think the paint color is a nice neutral so not sure what you're wanting.

I'm looking to redo this guest room. I'm thinking an accent wall(either Navy blue or a fun farmhouse inspired wallpaper). what color is good for a room that doesn't have great natural lighting. open to buying new bedding, fixtures, floating shelves, mirror, etc. any recommendations?

The drapes can be returned no issue. This is a rental and Im 30 yrs old. Id likr to spend under 500$. The bed is a queen. Id like bedding that is not necessary matching my dresser but rather "goes with it". I think the turquoise dresser is the only turquoise Id like to se in the room. Yes the room is small. I cannot fit anything else in the room except maybe a small desk in the corner or some shelving unit.

I would lower the painting above the bed. It's recommended that the bottom of the painting be 8-10 inches above the top of the headboard (some even say 6"). You can have matching nightstands with matching lamps or you can opt for mismatched nightstands. Design is very much about balance, but that doesn't mean everything has to be symmetrical. Just depends on what you like. You could put a chair, small table and floor lamp to the right of the window... Do you have a dresser that you love? Something like this could bridge the colors of your headboard and tv stand or even replace the tv stand. Maybe look for something that isn't the typical framed art for the wall.
