Our floors are Provenza Heirloom Collection in London. I love how they look but am less sure how they're going to wear. Already have a few scratches. The knotty, grain-y look is very forgiving but I'm annoyed that it scratches easily. Thanks for the compliments!

I am looking for advice on Dekton Domoos or Indian Absolute Black honed finish. I want a matte black perimeter counter in my kitchen with extra white cabinets. Does anyone have either product? What other suggestions do you have for a matte black counter?

I am a fabricator. "Is Cambria worth the extra expense?" No. I have fabricated all the mentioned brands plus many others and found little or no difference. Actual material problems with engineered stone (inaccurately termed "quartz surface" in advertising) are rare and usually the result of poor fabrication or installation technique. Cambria excels at marketing and pushes the idea that theirs is a "premium" brand but its all marketing hype. That said, Cambria has been in the forefront of creating new colors for many years. For my customers I only recommend Cambria when a Cambria color is the perfect match to their decorating scheme and no acceptable alternative product (which would almost always be less costly) is available.

I really like my Silestone. We did it for the kitchen and master bathroom in our Florida home. No issues with staining. I never put anything hot, not , even on my granite. There is a hard soapstone that you can plop your from the oven pan. If that what looking for.
