Comments (3)Indy, I've already done over 600 tax returns.... so ready for this to be over with! Ken, how do you kill them? I thought they grew on your driveway! Is it hard to grow because of the large white center? Wondering what kind of sun to put this one in. Gesila...See MoreGoodness Gracious...look at THIS hosta!
Comments (15)I just picked up a Goodness Gracious from In The Country Garden & Gifts at the AHS convention. I don't normally spend $25 on a hosta (bound to be the first one the deer attempt to nibble), but I considered this my splurge. What's the point of visiting the vendor area of the national convention if you don't buy at least one really special hosta?...See MoreGoodness Gracious reverting to Piedmont Gold
Comments (8)Okay, Josephine..... First I just ripped some leaves out of Goodness Gracious and stuck one in some water. That was so cool I decided to go back and try for some crown. I planted that this morning with a lot of crown. I also decided to rip out a gold eye of Paradigm and planted that this morning. This time I got a bunch of leaves and crown. Heck, I may go around and take a couple of leaves and some crown of a lot of stuff. My new Krossa Regal looks great and came from a single leaf with not a lot of crown....See MoreWhat hostas are still looking good in your garden?
Comments (28)debra..thanks!..I spent the day watering..I connected 2 hoses..one 100 ft and one 75..can reach a lot but not everything Lol..I used an old small sprinkler so I could saturate just plants and not have overspray..moved it around a lot..the Water Right hoses make it easy..then I sat on the garden seat and filled all 7 of my watering cans..hauled them all over and emptied them..then filled them a second time and did it again.. I've watered occasionally this summer but the plants would've liked more..one of my astilbes was pitiful..it was surrounded by vinca/periwinkle/myrtle (goes by several names) and you couldn't see it..I watered it as soon as I saw it..I took a look at it before I came in..looks better already.....See Morejimr66
