Puck Lights Nightmare

Karen Coutts

This is more of a warning than asking for help. But any help or comments are appreciated.

I decided to put puck lights in the bottom of the cabinets and asked an electrician to come in and do the wiring. This is what he did.

The electrician made all the holes and openings you can see.

So the cost of the puck lights includes the $500 to wire it in, the cost of drywall repair (how much will it cost?!!!), and the cost of the puck lights themselves plus the transformer ($291 CAD). Who knew puck lights would be so expensive? *palms forehead.*

I am having my backsplash redone and now think I should get someone to remove the whole drywall panel with the backsplash on rather than try to pay for backsplash removal AND drywall repair.
