OK can somebody tell me-is the finished plane block supposed to be 8'? If I can get this thing sized properly I might try one.

Did anyone else end up with 8" airplane blocks?

I checked the print out, and the block there is 3.75. The directions say to enlarge 200%, which makes it 7.5 (3.75 x 200%). Adding 1/4 seam allowance brings it up to 8".

Is this just me? What am I doing wrong in my calculations?

I dodn't PP but on the link below this airplanr block is 8 1/2 that is what the directions say I really dont know. I don't know what payyern you are using Cheryl but if it is 8" thats okay.

Sally , I had to give up on the airplane . I tryed copying it 200% like they say but I can't do it with my copier. So I'll do 4 of the jar block

You know now that I have sent those airplanes I think they were only 8 inches not 8 1/2 oh bother.......... Well Red if you can't use them maybe you can find something to do with them. I thought they turned out cute.

I don't understand why the postal service thinks the package I sent you should have 5 digits in the zip code not just 4. It was sent back to me. Sending it back out today priority and with all 5 digits of your zip code.
