Finally we are putting together our cabinets and need any and all suggestions and help regarding the installation of them. I am so excited to be at this point in the remodel. thanks in advance

Flexible sill pan flashing or pre-formed sill pan (you and use both if you want to go over the top), jamb flashing, head flashing, flanged/new construction window, low expansion foam to fill any gaps, and a drip cap on the finished exterior.

Late to the thread here, but this might help those in the future. My carpeted parts have a nose that matches the false tread. The original poster has no nose at all on the carpeted areas so the ends of the false tread will show. (I'm done with carpeted stairs and here on houzz trying to figure out if I can now switch to all wood with a false tread. THAT's tricky!)
