Wow Heather what a work of love. I hate to think about how much work goes into organizing everyones want lists and don't want lists with all those seed packs. Not to mention emails and posting updates. Thank goodness there is someone willing to take the time and put forth the effort. I missed out this year but will be watching for the seed swap next year. Thank you for what you do.

I am still waiting for a few envelopes to arrive, but can't wait any longer so I've pushed ahead with the sorting. It will still take sometime, but I did manage to mail these evelopes back today:

I had some more packed up and ready to mail this morning, but then I opened the front door and said no way....I'm not going out there today. It's minus 32 degrees celcius. Lucky for me I can sometimes work from home if the weather is bad.

I still have about 20 or so envelopes to work through. My apologies for the delay in getting them all out. Had to start later than anticipated because some of the envelopes were about a week or more late on arrival.

I'm putting in long hours at work this week because I'm running workshops, so will do the best I can. Will likely take the rest of this week to get the remainder of the envelopes packed and mailed.

I am so really thrilled with all the selections (and the extras!) you sent, and I have the recycling envelope addressed to you for next year already :). Dear Heather,

Today, WinterSown received a donation of seeds which came from this swap. It's a treasure trove of peppers and tomatoes and a few other veggies. All so greatly needed. WinterSown shares seeds to many organizations, most of them needing food-plant seeds. The economy tanked and people need to grow some of their own. On behalf of all the folks who will put food on their plates, grown from the seeds which you have all shared, I say bless you and thank you for your generosity.

Mine were mailed on November 30 and I've not received them either. It took 15 days to get to Heather and I figured it would take that long for them to get here. Maybe its the holiday rush? That is what I am hoping it is, anyhow

Bummer. Yeah, I just got on this forum because I am thinking of tomatoes today. I have some Opalka seeds to trade if anyone has some good red thick-walled types and a tiny tender red cherry. A day late and a dollar short!

I'm guessing that U.S. Customs aren't as quick about things as Canadian Customs was...

I had not really thought about them being late until I received a trade package of seeds from Canada last week that was mailed about 2 weeks later than the tomatoes were.
Different POE's may have longer delays than others.
Perhaps this will be our week!
