No credit/how to rent apt help!!!
Comments (2)Your best bet will be to rent from an individual, not a complex. Properties run by management groups generally have to be very specific in their requirements (equal housing laws) and you are unlikely to qualify with no established credit, no rental history, and without a stable work history. So look for someone who is renting a room or a guest house, something like that. Check the paper. People who are renting directly will be less likely to care about your history, but even then there are no guarantees. Good luck....See MoreDecorating a studio apt need ideas PLEASE!
Comments (13)Since it's a small space how about keeping most of the walls light and adding an accent wall with some texture looking repositionable, removable, alternative wallpaper I think this is on Modenus but may be elsewhere). That way you could keep an open feel but add interest with the walls with wallpaper and the rest with cool wall art. You could give the illusion of more space. When or if you decide on a reusable wallpaer color just add some pillows of that shade to your bed. To further that idea add some interesting lighting, some that shines up and some that shines down (mix it up) and have dimmers. Have a wall with art that has painting lights....See MoreWhat colour should I paint the cabinets in my studio apt. I like the i
Comments (6)The cabinets look to be in very good condition. I wouldnt be painting them. I would be buying accessories in some colors and maybe an area rug on the table, and get some pretty curtains, or some type of window treatment to give it a personality. Right now, it looks like a nice kitchen in a house where no one lives....See MoreIs it worth to convert carport space to studio apt?
Comments (10)I don't see the garage and your first step is to find out if it is allowed in your town to convert . Garages are not usually built to be living spaces so often the amount of work to change it is not worth it. They almost always look like converted garages too I fo one would not want to walk through a carport to get to my apartment .BTW you cannot include that in oyur home space since it is not part of the original home . The plumbing alone will be a big expense so if allowed then go looking for a contractor and get some pricing....See Moreapple_pie_order
