We transformed this master bedroom into a bright, fresh, modern space with a touch of rural, country flair. With charcoal and gray tones throughout, we added pops of lime green, which was inspired by the velvet lime green bench that we had custom made for the client to place in front of the tall windows that frame their vibrant back yard. The windows provide so much pure natural light into the space and with the height of their ceilings, we wanted to accentuate this feature. We installed long, 12' faux silk Duralee curtains and kept their bamboo shade to play off of the reclaimed wood on the mirror above their dresser and the fireplace mantle. We pulled it all together to create a modern farmhouse look, which we call "Rural Modern".
