A space formerly occupied by a chain restaurant was re-designed to emulate the owners' existing wine bar in a nearby town. We hoped to keep the styles between locations consistent and create an open yet intimate feeling in the new, larger building by using warm pendant lighting and a variety of seating arrangements including a lounge area, booths, bar height tables, and a separate classroom area defined by building a new wall to divide the space, which became a beautiful stacked stone accent wall with uplighting and varied height wine bottle pendants.
