Over the Summer and Autumn of 2014 our garden for The Amiens Garden Festival was open to the public to visit and we are delighted that the garden has been retained for the 2015 festival.

Designed to replicate a fabric swatch in recognition of the value of the historical textile industry in Amiens we used approximately 5000 plants in the scheme. Woad in particular was celebrated with the planting scheme predominantly using yellow/orange and blue/purple in alternating beds with a black timber underlying structure. The project is entirely on it's own individual island which presented logistical challenges, however we were really pleased with the outcome and look forward to revisiting when the festival opens again this summer.
