Constantly shifting and changing from year to year with plants being moved, divided, given away, or thrown on the compost pile after evaluation the previous season, my gardens are always evolving with something new to try. This continuous movement of plants and their locations keeps me engaged. I watch bloom time and try to combine things that go well together, sometimes with boldy diverse foliage and form.

Here are just a few shots that show arrangements and colors - I love blue and purple so you see quite a few different selections that I've grown. I also design for year-round interest and love the fall foliage season. This is a USDA Hardiness zone 4b garden. It's maintained organically and is a certified Backyard Habitat with the National Wildlife Federation.
