Our goal when designing interiors is to create living experiences that engage the senses and nurture the soul, while helping our clients translate their personal style into a signature look. And we believe this luxury home interior embodies all of those goals.

For this luxury house interior, we injected a traditional Georgian style interior with intoxicating colors, rich texture and international style in this lush Mission Hills neighborhood. We accomplished that by integrating both clients taste - his love of international boutique hotel design and her love of the classics along with a mutual fondness for contemporary art to create an iconic look.

If you look closely, you will see how each space delivers an incredible living experience - meticulous attention to detail, vibrant color, and a lavish mix of textures that creates an ambiance of quiet luxury.

As we embarked on the project of transforming the client's foyer, we knew that the key lay in finding the perfect piece of art that would capture the essence of their home's spirit. After an extensive global search, we stumbled upon an exquisite original Mattini painting, that showcased our client's love of bold color and music.

This masterpiece became the cornerstone of our vision for this luxurious house interior, inspiring a custom-designed rug that mirrored the painting's artistry, while also mimicking the color of their beloved pet. The rug's plush texture and harmonious color palette seamlessly blended with the foyer's ambiance, creating a welcoming and inviting space.

To complement the artistic focal point, we sought out an antique console table from the South of France, its weathered patina exuding a sense of timeless elegance. The table's intricate carvings and graceful lines perfectly complemented the painting's modern flair, adding a touch of sophistication to the foyer, while a vase designed by a local artist added to the look.

The final touch came in the form of hand-made chevron wallpaper that enveloped the walls and infused the space with texture, depth, and warmth to create an inviting ambiance.

The result was a foyer that transcended mere aesthetics; it became a tangible expression of the clients' personalities, a space that exuded warmth, sophistication, and a deep appreciation for art and culture.

As guests step from the foyer into the dining room, their eyes are instantly drawn upwards to a dazzling display - a contemporary Swarovski crystal chandelier. Its glistening facets dance under the warm glow of the lights, casting a spell of elegance and sophistication over the room.

The chandelier's brilliance is artfully juxtaposed with the existing traditional furniture that graced the space, creating a harmonious blend of old and new. The rich, inviting tones of the leather wall covering served as a calming backdrop, while the playful giraffe-spot pattern adorning the orange velvet seat covers added a touch of whimsy.

Beneath the chandelier's watchful gaze, a traditional hand-knotted blue rug lay anchored on the floor, its intricate design providing a sense of balance and grounding to the visually compelling space.

Stepping into the library, you are immediately transported to a world of cherished memories and treasured possessions. The homeowners had envisioned this room as a sanctuary for their military memorabilia, mementos from their travels, and family heirlooms, each piece whispering tales of their lives and adventures.

To offset the dark stained walls that enveloped the room we introduced lighter custom-designed furniture. These pieces, bathed in the warm glow of custom lighting adorning the built-in shelves, cast a gentle radiance upon the room, transforming it into a haven of warmth and intimacy.

At the heart of the room, a custom-crafted desk, its sleek silhouette adorned with gleaming nail-head trim, stood as a testament to impeccable craftsmanship. The desk's champagne leather surface, shimmering under the gentle glow of the room's lighting, exuded an aura of sophistication and timeless elegance.

Behind the desk, a regal wingback chair upholstered in sumptuous pebbled leather beckoned with its promise of comfort and tranquility. Its graceful curves and inviting embrace seemed to whisper tales of countless hours spent immersed in the world of literature and reflection.

Underfoot, a custom-designed wool rug, we designed in a collaborative effort with the client, anchored the space, its intricate patterns adding a touch of bespoke artistry to the room's already rich ambiance. The rug's soft texture and warm hues provided a welcoming counterpoint to the library's polished surfaces, creating a harmonious blend of luxury and warmth.

Together, these elements transform the library into a sanctuary of bespoke elegance, a space where one could indulge in the pleasures of reading, writing, and quiet contemplation, surrounded by the finer things in life.

As you wander through the library, your fingertips brushing against the surfaces of these treasured objects, you become enveloped in a sense of nostalgia and wonder. The library has now become more than just a repository for artifacts; it is a testament to the homeowners' rich tapestry of experiences and the enduring power of memories.

Stepping into the master suite feels like you're entering a tranquil haven, a sanctuary far removed from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Here, we masterfully created a space that embodies serenity and relaxation, a refuge where our clients can escape the demands of their hectic schedules.

The walls are adorned with a muted blue-green shade, a calming hue that gently envelopes the room, washing away any hint of stress or anxiety. The leafy textured wallpaper backdrop adds a touch of understated elegance, its subtle patterns complementing the room's overall tranquility.

As you ascend to the third-floor guest suite, you are greeted by a space that exudes quiet luxury, a space that our clients can also as a retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Aptly nicknamed "The Flat" after their previous London abode, the suite was a haven of comfort and relaxation. The décor was a blend of modern and traditional elements, creating a timeless elegance that was both inviting and sophisticated.

The suite's color palette was a harmonious blend of neutral tones, with pops of color adding vibrancy and personality. The furniture was upholstered in luxurious fabrics, and the walls were adorned with artwork that reflected the clients' love for travel and adventure.

This stunning luxury interior has been featured in two international design books and boasts three floors of custom designed furniture, furnishings, wall coverings, area rugs, custom lighting, and more.
