This spacious 2-bedroom apartment was fortunate to have good bones and a great layout. The existing layout was kept intact, but we completely remodeled the kitchen, updated the bathroom finishes, and installed new wide-plank wood flooring throughout. The kitchen features integrated appliances, touch latch hardware, and a cooktop for a clean minimalist look. The light wood floor, oak cabinetry, and flat fronts create a simple Scandinavian look. The Madreperola quartzite countertop adds a touch of luxury. The kitchen has a minimalist look that hides clutter, but open shelves on the kitchen pantry wall allow for the artful display of potted plants. The kitchen features some clever kitchen storage ideas such as the end cabinet or island cookbook storage, utensil drawers, an under-sink drawer and a pullout trash can.

The guest bathroom and master bathroom both have a similar material palette. White Calcutta Gold large format tile walls and floor help keep this windowless master bathroom light and airy. The master bathroom features an integrated countertop sink, wall-mounted fixtures and a rain shower head. We converted the guest bathroom shower and tub combination to a walk-in shower to take advantage of the window inside the shower area. The frameless shower door and floating vanity help to make a small bathroom feel spacious.

Mid Century modern furniture upholstered in off-white and beige completes the modern minimalist look. Brass accented legs, a rich wood TV console and a fur bench provide key points of interest. A large chandelier by David Weeks sits above the dining area.
