We wanted to create a space that was airy with lots of light and took full advantage of the 14-foot ceilings. The walls were given a calm lighter palette and the floors were refinished with light wood panels. We played around with mismatching white and gray cabinet colors and countertop materials, and used a lighter patterned backsplash, creating a dynamic kitchen. We increased the functionality with a larger island featuring a sink and more storage. Stunning light fixtures in the form of a chandelier in the dining room and cylindrical pendant lights in the kitchen were selected to add even more interest and light to the space.
