An architectural icon, this Ed Killingsworth designed 1960’s home (Killingsworth, Brady, Smith and Associates) was originally designed for Ed Frank, A.I.D., owner and interior designer at the iconic Frank Brothers furniture store in Long Beach. Also known as Case Study House #25, it was featured in Arts & Architecture magazine in 1962. Our design concept for this home was to preserve the original integrity of the architectural intent while bringing the interiors current. Adding lush, textural details in blocks of rich color helps to make the space feel more inviting and sensual without the sterile, stark feeling that can often happen in contemporary interiors.
