On this compact lot, Verdance created a succession of outdoor rooms while creating space for the owner's beloved rose bushes. The oversized recirculating fountain vessel directs views from indoors as well as out, while the custom arbor above the dining patio creates shade until sundown when the coordinating lounge patio welcomes guests. Drought-tolerant plantings reduce irrigation needs, while the paths of locally-sourced crushed stone allow stormwater to percolate.
