Hiring an interior designer was critical in our home building project. My husband hand crafted a timber frame structure and we didn't want to get the coloring wrong as it would affect the overall feel of the home. After sampling several (20+) stain colors from several companies, nothing looked right, it was a stressful time. We thought building our dream home was supposed to be fun! Getting the beams and flooring to look right together seemed impossible. How were we doing to get that Pinterest look I've been setting my sights on? After cancelling a flooring order and loosing time & energy, we knew it was time to hire a professional. Maggie took our project from "Do it yourself, homeowner hodgepodge" to a professional home that fit my husbands masculine style while appeasing my desire to have an open, light, airy space to raise our 3 young children that we could be proud of. She provided a custom mixed stain, unique oak hard wood flooring and paint colors for every room in the house. Even our children's bedrooms had specific coloring to reflect their personalities. The color scheme flows nicely from room to room with great attention to balance. After seeing the magic and transformation that occurred, we realized that it does indeed make a HUGE difference to have someone with a plethora of knowledge, experience and resources to help you. Maggie worked with us on such a personal level and was patient with every concern and reservation we had along the way. Maggie Flowers Interior Design, Ltd is a well run, highly respected interior design firm. My dealings have been from the supplier end of her business. I hired Maggie Flowers to design a window treatment for my living room. After providing sketches and fabric samples, she showed me her recommended design and fabric. Recently we did a total remodel of our cabin on Grand Lake. The floor plan, interior design and construction details surpassed our expectations. The construction process started with Northern Trends.
