Five generations of Araquette women have been creative artists. As a certified professional interior designer, I am carrying on my family legacy. With a background in fine art, I bring an unique eye to residential interior design and enjoy coming up with creative solutions to design problems. I think outside the box to create spaces that are both functional and beautiful. My overall design philosophy is to create spaces that captivate the senses on many levels. In order to accomplish this, I like to use an eclectic fusion of contrasts. For example, I might combine antique with modern, rustic with refined, or minimal with adorned. In the end, my goal is to create a look that’s current yet timeless, fresh yet familiar, all the while infusing the personality of the homeowner(s) into the space. Nothing makes me happier than to hear a client say, "I would have never chosen these pieces on my own, but I absolutely love them!" These words are a true confirmation to the value I add as a designer.
