DH Design

I decided I needed to update my family room and living room and thought I could "go it alone" but quickly discovered I needed help! I contacted Diane of DH Design for help with my project. Diane asked me a lot of great questions to get to know my personality and the style I was going for. My budget was somewhat limited and she was very respectful of that. She provided many choices/ideas that fit well within my budget. She also helped me move out of my comfort zone. An example of this was my purchase of a new chair for my family room. I was going to go with the "safe" solid upholstery fabric. She found a fabric that had all the colors I wanted but was bolder than what I was accustomed to. As she said, having a statement piece in the room would be nice. She was right. I absolutely love the chair and I get so many compliments. She introduced me to the idea of adding "texture" to the rooms such as a basket weave end table that we added to my living room and so much more. Diane was so sensitive to my "would like to have it yesterday" style and always did her best to accommodate me. This included selecting furniture pieces and deciding on art pieces for a collage on my living room wall to name just a couple. I really appreciated how she was able to incorporate pieces I already had into the design of the rooms. I am so please with the new updated look in the two rooms. Next project... my dining room. Of course, I will call DH Design.
