I have seen Susan’s work at a friend’s home and contacted her for an update of our family room. She suggested new paint colors for the walls and had two club chairs reupholstered in the nicest coordinating colors. She also found the perfect rug from our room. She is easy to work with and worked well within our budget. I would definitely call her again.

I own a long term care facility and hired Susan to update the entry and receiving areas of the building. Susan selected just the right paint colors to go with existing oil paintings in the room and had two chairs reupolstered as well as cornice boards made in a stunning velvet prism stripe. She even suggested a floor decal as a cheery touch in place if a rug since rugs are a fall risk to our residents. It all brightens and makes for such a welcoming entry. I get so many compliments. I will absolutely call Susan for our upcoming projects.

I found picture perfect (Susan) on Facebook, from there visited her website and Houzz page. After reviewing those sites and her reviews decided to contact her. I needed help updating my home. Susan helped with contractors and had lots of contacts. In the midst of all that we decided to sell and move. All the repairs and updating to sell our home and then started making changes to our new house. We painted throughout, had a large wall built in customized to our needs. Susan was a lifesaver helping me with wall colors, flooring, custom rugs, furniture, bedding, wallpaper, even carpet cleaners. Susan has been very professional and easy to work with. Thank you Susan for helping me turn my house into a beautiful home.

Susan has helped me with two different homes and continues to provide insight / help for all things related to design improvements and changes. She is extremely talented and truly one of the nicest people to work with. I trust her implicitly and look forward to continuing our partnership. Susan was the lead designer on a previous large scale project for my wife and I at our home that included the piano room, family room, dining room, and master bedroom that involved custom window treatments, reupholstery of sofa, chairs and fine 19th century antique furniture, as well as custom blinds. When we were ready to commence a second project on a commercial office space, we thought of Susan, as she had gone out on her own. She provided renderings of her window treatment project and did blinds for us. She really listens and wants to please. She’s great about returning phone calls and texts and quite fair in her pricing. I have full confidence in her abilities.

She was "on time and on budget even though many pieces were custom...Bernhardt Sectional, John Richard ottoman, Theodore Alexander and Peninsula Home chairs, window treatments and art. She mixes colors and patterns well and doesn't just take the easy road out. As part of her services, we took a trip to Dallas Market and I enjoyed thoroughly seeing all the new trends for the coming year. I love the fact that I can trust her implicitly to pass on her design discounts to me as well as finding many products at better than wholesale, as she merely charges me an hourly rate. She broke the mold relative to fairness in pricing and renewed my faith in the design profession. This by the way, is my fourth house to use a designer, so I know from where I speak. Susan didn't impose her tastes on me, but incorporated my style, so that the house was accurately reflected in a very stylish, tasteful and cohesive, way throughout. Susan provided renderings and samples of her work product and was responsive to phone calls, texts and emails, typically within the hour. I will use her again and recommend her to friends and family.

Earlier this year I needed help to coordinate the paint colors during a remodel of my duplex.. After finding out my tastes and the result I was seeking, Susan made recommendations. She was spot-on. When looking at the samples, I couldn't visualize the finished look, but she has that designers imaginary talent. The painters came while I was gone on a three weeks trip. I returned to a transformed home that had gone from dull to vibrant - a perfect setting for my Asian furnishings. Along the way, Susan suggested (in about five minutes) a better arrangement for my breakfast room a new way to show off my oriental rugs. She also helped me order plantation shutters - with a nice discount! Susan makes her suggestions in a way that invites discussion and seeks to make your home a reflection of you and your wishes, not hers. She is resourceful, transparent and honest in her business arrangements. To top it Off, Susan is a delightful person. This was not a big job, but it showed me a wonderful talent. Susan would be my first choice for any future design project.
