During my career I have worked with interiors for Corporate, Hospitality, Restaurant and Residential. I work a bit different in the belief that the time spent in the very beginning is the most important. For residential, learning how you like to work in the kitchen, are there people with you, a group or are you alone? The entry to your home. Do you use the front door? Back from the driveway? Do you enter from outside garage, Street parking? City, country? Guests arrive through which entry,? Questions about you and your family. How do you spend your day? Especially now with everyone at home, school, office? So many new changes in our lives. If you make a small change at home now, it may relieve the pressure of an entire family at home 24/7. Communication is the key. Take the time to write down what you want and what you need. The list always surprises me. The age old question form over function, function over form. An in between compromise is needed.
