hmmm, first time didn't work for more than one pic...

I don't use Flickr but would imagine they provide HTML code? If so, it would be easiest to use that. But if not, or you you can't find it, and have the direct link to the photo you can always post it like this: <img src="pasteDirectImageLinkHere"> It does have to be a direct link though, not just a link to a Flickr page that displays/contains your image. The nearest I can determine, a direct link to an image will start with "http", end with an image extension(jpg,gif,png,etc.), and not contain a "?" in between. For instance: Valid: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7310/9761219781_be5521ee07_z.jpg Invalid: http://www.flickr.com/photos/theamazingsuk/9761219781/ Valid: http://i700.photobucket.com/albums/ww7/chuggerguy/IMG_0037.jpg Invalid: http://s700.photobucket.com/user/chuggerguy/media/IMG_0037.jpg.html Another "Invalid" that I'm too lazy to look for an example of but have seen... somewhere: http://somehostingsite.com/?view=http://somehostingsite.com/username/photo.jpg BTW, if you wanted to link to an album but not display an image you can do it like this: <a target="_blank" href="pasteLinkHere">TextToTurnIntoLink</a>

Hi everyone. Trish - Been there and done that! It seems this problem of loading pic's follows me on a couple of different forums. I was able to load pic's on here OK originally and then I couldn't. I gave it a miss for a few days and tried again, but finally I gave up trying to load pic's. It was maybe two months later I thought I'd try again with a few new pic's and it worked. I didn't do anything different in regards to loading, so it maybe the size of the pic's I was trying to load originally were too big. Trish, the programme I use is Microsoft Picture Manager which is part of Microsoft Office and what I do is bring up the picture I want to post, go to the task bar and click on "edit". A pop up screen called "Edit Pictures" will show on the right side of your picture giving you various editing choices. I scroll down to to the bottom where it shows in bold print "Change Picture Size", and I click on "Resize". Another pop up screen will appear called "Resize Settings" and on this there are several options. I go to option three which is an elongated box under the heading of "Predefined width and height" and click on that Within this box will appear six other options; I select option 3 "Web Large" (640 x 480 px) and click OK which will automatically reduce the size of you pic. You could try other options also but this is the one I find that works for me. All the best, Nev

Hi Molly, Glad it wasn't just me who was unable to open pictures. Yes, several of the benches really caught my eye, at good price range too. Welburn-- like a well tailored suit-- but too skimpy in depth of seat. My son and I are "large". Flannigan-- handsome, and I liked the vignette with the floor lamp. Hadn't thought of that before And a little bling isn't bad. . Thomas-- probably my favorite-- the ebony wood trim dresses it up without being fussy. So that gives me a good place to anchor the angle wall, and it won't interfere with passing through the front door. . Would you suggest a large mirror behind the bench, flanked with some wall art or photos> Anything you can suggest to put on the 10" long wall that doesn't involve floor space? Would like color . The website you chose is new to me. Are there any other online resources you can suggest in addition to the usual pricey ones-- PBarn, Crate and Barrel, West Elm? Appreciate the time you've given me.
