rob, you reminded me of this one: An elderly man lay dying in his bed. While suffering the agonies of impending death, he suddenly smelled the rich, buttery aroma of his wife’s famous potato and cheese pierogi wafting up the stairs. Summoning his final strength, he crawled downstairs, mesmerized by the sight of hundreds of steaming pierogi on the kitchen table. Just as he reached for a taste of the savory treat, his wife smacked his hand with a wooden spoon and says, "Leave them alone! They're for the funeral!"
