chloebud, she is just the cutest thing!!! So precious and so beautiful!!

murraysmom, she is so cute and sweet! She had to have emergency surgery 9 days ago after swallowing a pod from a palm tree that was lodged where her stomach meets the small intestine. Not so cute and sweet!😞 She picks up anything and everything outside, and it’s hard to constantly monitor it.🤷‍♀️

Wild Mustang came close enough for me to pet her, here in my backyard.

Chloebud, that is so sad to hear! That is always a concern when walking the pups! Lacey was off her food for a couple of days. She had been eating grass and I think it was a lawn that gets fertilizer treatments. She came around and is back to her rascally self.

Surgery is a serious business. I hope she has a speedy recovery. Other than watching them like a hawk, I don't know what else you could do. Poor baby.

A friend gave her Mom a Lhasa for companionship, but then had to take him for herself. Mom wasn't fast enough to keep up with all he ate and the resulting vet visits, including her hearing aid batteries!!

Wow!! That would be expensive and not fun for the dog either!!

Yes, my friend had a lab dachshund mix which resulted in a big body on little legs that put her close to the ground. Her name was Happy and she really lived up to it. But when we would walk our dogs together, Happy was forever snatching stuff up off the ground, too quick for Ruth to stop her. One day she grabbed something and turned around and had most of a big dead bull frog hanging out of her mouth!!!! So gross.

Lily’s doing fine now, thankfully. Not long ago she found a baby bird in our yard I’m assuming was on the ground. Poor little thing.😞 She also got a lizard that are all over the place. We just have to watch her every minute.🥴

Annie, hearing aid batteries!😲 My sister’s golden retriever became really sick. He’d eaten a ton of plums from their tree, and the pits had plugged him all up. Almost killed him but he made it through.

Always near by. Some of you may remember the power chair i bought with the money raised in the go fund me after we lost everything in Harvey flood in Houston. It was bright yellow named Sunshine. I finally had to retire her and this is my new chair exactly like Sunshine just newer model and new color. It is a beautiful metallic blue. I don't really have a name for it yet. Any ideas?
