@liasch....It was a required read in a book club I eventually quit! The premise for the book is an octopus is looking out for people...he doesn't know....and cares for them risking his own life...because we as humans are so ABOVE all other creatures he sacrifices himself and his own need to survive. THAT to me is a disgusting premise. Not just fiction...not just fantasy....disgusting self importance the reader is supposed to find endearing. We then overlook the silliness of the situation...because we like the outcome......a happy ending....

My mother taught me about those swirls MANY years ago. I wasn't sure they were still a thing because I never buy boxes of chocolates any more. It was a good way to avoid the strawberry creme and the coconut fillings for me.
