Ooh, that may be hard to figure out where the separate grafts are right now. See if you can find four different kinds of leaves, right now. If you can differentiate the leaves, then you'll find your different grafts. If that fails, well... just trim it back well, then wait until it fruits and see. Not all of the grafts may have survived, and perhaps the rootstock has sent out some shoots, too. (That fruit probably would not be very edible.) Let me know how it goes! Good luck.

Ask ten people what your watering schedule's should be and you will probably get ten different answers. Thing is each growers situation is unique, and that's really something each grower figures out whats best for their plants through trial and error. But for that type of system where the roots will be hanging in mid air I don't think I would want them to go more than 15 min between watering. If it were me I would get a timer with 15 minute increments and start with 15 on/15 off, and go from their. As for connecting the flexibly hose to the 1/2 in pvc, in the irrigation section of most hardware stores they sell connectors that are barbed on one end (for the flexible hose), and threaded (to connect to the pvc) on the other end. I find here Lowe's has the best selection. Unfortunately I can't post pictures in this forum without going through too many hoops but I have pictures of the ones I used in another forum here: Third system (scroll down a little to see the images, and you can click on them to see the full size image) "I'm not sure of the terminology but i plan on flooding the top of the pipe and letting it drain back down to the resevoir. should i do this once evey hour and one time at night? " I'm not sure how you can flood the top of a vertical tube, but it sounds like if it truly is a vertical tube, you plan to use sprayers at the top, and let it rain down through the tube watering the roots on the way down. If so the 15 on/15 off cycle is what I would start with. It wouldn't need to be on for 15 minuets, but you will be limited to the timers settings. You may find a cycle timer online that you can set a particular on and off cycle (like 5 min on, and 15/20 min off), but I doubt you'll find them in any local stores. Digital timers have customizable settings, but most likely wont have enough settings to last through the day. At 3 on/off cycles per hour (5 on/15 off) that's 6 settings per hour. In a 18 hour period that's 108 settings. I have a digital timer that was supposed to have 144 settings, but I found out is over a 7 day period (and includes sunset and sunrise settings). Bottom line is it really only has 14 settings per day. 7 on and 7 off. So be careful and ask questions before you settle on a digital timer. At least be sure you can take it back (mine was on clearance so I couldn't).

I think whether you can have a party on the 4th depends on a couple things 1) will they slip your pebble at all? 2) what sort of start up do they do - I had a non-acid start up and was swimming right away (as it filled) 3) how big is your pool - and how good is your water pressure - my pool was only 12-13k gallons and we have EXCELLENT water pressure - previous owner was a fireman who installed high pressure/ high capacity hose bibs - using that bib plus an extra from the back yard and our pool was full in about 6 1/2 hours - from what I've seen on here that is not typical - so you need to think how long your fill time will be 4) Is you PB a flake? Will he get out to your house and help you start up your pumps and make sure everything is working right? There was a small problem with my equipment - and our plumber had completely flaked off by the end of our build - we were full of water - but didn't have equipment running for 5 days - due to no one wanting to come back out on the holiday weekend. We were having the 4th of july party debate the year we put our pool in and scraped the idea a couple weeks ahead because we just didn't trust that things would be up and running (at that point there had been so many delays and problems we weren't sure we'd even be swimming that summer!). We actually got pebble June 30 - but didnt have equipment running until July 5...my husband and I floated around of course - but were glad we made the call we did - we wouldn't have wanted a party in there without the pumps running! Just thought I'd share my experiences at potentail "failure points" - see where you think yours would be and how confident you are that they will work out the way you want! I appreciate all of your responses and am following your suggestions. I called the HR person Monday morning and she said she would see what she could find out and call me back on Tuesday. I had a cortisone injection in my knee on Sept.2nd and it did not help at all. The new coverage starts on Oct. 1st and I really resent the fact that the company did not let us know they were looking at changing companies. I work the overnight shift and haven't been able to sleep for stressing over this. Again thank you all for your help. Marcia
