I totally bombed on this one. My guess had to do with a saying about proof is in the pudding, That’s what I meant about being an old dated expression. We had three feet of snow on the ground a few weeks ago that fell in November/December and now it is almost all gone. Hmm - I got this - The short stop ball. I’m giving myself credit for figuring out ’shortstop’ & thinking wuzzle had something to do with base ball. But, I don’t see a clue to the word threw…. But, on further thought I guess the letters in the top to bottom order instead of linear are meant to suggest the word threw.
