Pi Day connection. Taking a stroll down memory lane….

My son won this necklace in 5th grade. Pi contest. He came in second for a few years, to Anna (I think that was her name) She was a year older. When she moved up to the middle school, he won.

He was able to choose his prize from various geodes etc. He said he picked this out to give to me. ❤️

sealavender, when I first looked at your picture, I got a flashback to the Horn & Hardart Cafeteria in New York City back in 1969!! I vividly remember seeing the food in those things that turned around and then you picked something out. I had never seen such a thing before. Just a little rube visiting the big city. I do really like your picture.
