Sunday Brain Game. Solution
Comments (40)@murraysmom Zone 6a OH - No, Bran is not the answer - it’s Raisin Bran! The ”clue” is the raised N. That was the idea that ”floated” up to me after mulling it over most of my day. @roxsolid - my ’floated up’ comment could have been a hint but totally unintentional on my part. Regarding @foodonastump ’not a hint’ to floral but just ”state the possibility that she might not be familiar with it.” he was referring to Kellogg’s Sultana bran cereal - it’s what UK & Australia eat instead of Raisin Bran that US/Canada has. I had to look that point up. I had never seen the Will Shat commercial for Raisin Bran. That’s why I like these puzzles - I learn so many new things! Really! 😁...See MoreSunday Brain Game----SOLUTION
Comments (23)Wow. Never in a million would I get that one. I was trying to make a flower / rabbit /garden connection with rox’s clues. However, I did immediately figure out foas wasn’t calling anyone a name & meant to key in ”hints” not bints. It’s the Qwerty keyboard layout that tipped me off. Interesting that ’bints’ is an actual word for UK - I never heard it used anywhere I’ve been in US....See MoreSunday Brain Game---SOLUTION
Comments (25)I agree this one is a stretch. I decided the stripy things were meant to be ties but I couldn't see a well known phrase. I know what a tie is and I know what a score is but I've never heard the expression "tie or tied score". We'd just say "tie" or "draw" for equal scores. The word score would be redundant. Is "tied score" a common expression in the US? Thanks, Jasdip, for posting these....See MoreSunday Brain Game----SOLUTION
Comments (14)I got "he's not in there". I'd be unlikely to say "he's out of there" so that one didn't occur to me....See More- 11 months agolast modified: 11 months ago
