They formerly trained in a deep water tank that was located here at NASA’s facility. Basically they were scuba diving and a friend of mine was their instructor. They also use an aircraft that does a steep dive that puts them briefly in a weightless environment to get accustomed to the feeling. Someone told me they used and jumped on a trampoline for a part of their training but i have no idea if that’s true.
