I remembered. Had to tightly keep my mouth shut when I got out of bed and made my way to the kitchen to turn on the coffee pot. Was afraid DH would ask me something (he always forgets). Then I said those two magic words!

I didn't remember until up and reading this, but DH was still asleep and I hadn't spoken yet. Said my rabbit, rabbit. I should be good for this month too - this a few months in a row I've somehow managed ;0)

Said it about 1:00 a.m. My granddaughter and her husband said it too. They went to the hospital around midnight to check in. Today is her due date to give birth, the doctor decided they needed to induce labor because the baby is already so large. Granddaughter said she and her husband both said it at 12:01 a.m.

Happy New Year! Bury the money today, while saying I'm burying my problems. After midnight say rabbit rabbit then Happy New Year. Eat lucky foods and bang clean pots. Dig up the money while saying I'm uncovering my fortunes. I think I've got it. For further fun personally I'm also going to shake an empty wallet at the sky. :-). Lots of fun for me. The rest of my family is bordering on ho hum about most holiday and traditional stuff so it's a party of one mostly. I'm fine to have fun on my family's behalf. :-) Also happy to say goodbye 2020! So happy to be rolling in 2021! Hooray! ... Although we did get the vaccine made and vaccinations started in 2020 so maybe that is something. Not nearly enough but something...
