Question for our neighbors to the North. Do you know yet what % of eligible citizens actually participated in your recent major e*ection? Wondering if like us, the result might‘ve been different if more had exercised their rights & duties. With our abysmal 64% participation (varies by survey but not much) one has to wonder what the result would’ve been if the other 36% had participated. Such apathy. Not voting because one doesn’t like either candidate is not an excuse & those people have no right to complain IMO. On another note, it sounds like our result affected yours - I also can understand that distraction.

There was a 25% increase from the last erection in the number of voters in the advance polls. But overall, I haven’t read what the number is. A record number was predicted.

I think Canadians are more united than ever, though. ( Well, except for one lady in Alberta named Danny).

Up until a few months ago, I would have like to see a C win for a change. However, I was fine with either candidate winning. L or C
