2 of my favorite Frank Zappa /Mothers tunes

If discussing Frank Zappa and Mothers, this is my favorite.

The guy was a creative genius as well as being a phenomenal musician. He was a "local" act for me in my teen and early adult years and I did see one show. They were known for being highly unpredictable. Many people didn't "get" what he was all about. A common gripe was that his work didn't measure up with the successful acts of the time, when I believe the reality was the exact opposite. He was different and I think one had to have some grasp of what he was trying to do, to appreciate his work. And despite what people assumed about him given his unconventional music and appearance, he didn't drink or do drugs.

The Fugs

This group played on campus in 1969 when I was a freshman, and I went to see them although I had never heard of them before that. Wide Wide River made a bit impression on me.
