Sorry. I was in a rush and didn't explain it well and thought you might just need a reminder. On the index page, the list of threads, at the top of the names of threads it says : 26,566 Garden Web Discussions | Cooking Latest Activity Including that box, which I didn't know was going to paste in. You can filter the messages with that drop down arrow, but it's only really useful where there's too much traffic or too little, and latest is the GW way. :) Next to the box that says Latest Activity are two small clickable boxes. One has two horizontal bars and the other has three. Click on the one with two bars, on the far right, and you'll be in "preview" mode. There will be a larger than thumbnail of the first photo in the originating post, if there is one, or a blank box with shadow chatting heads, on the left of each thread listing. To the right of the photo box will be a clickable thread title, with the poster's screen name (clickable to go to that person's profile) and the date, followed by number of comments. Under that is the preview of the last post with the last poster's avatar, clicable screen name, time of post, and first two lines of the last post in clickable green. The spacing is off but I've pasted it below. If you click the first two lines of the last post you'll either go to the last post or to the last one you read. I just can't predict which. I think it's gone to the middle most when there are a number of posts past when I last read one. It may just need the pointer to be down a page or something, to go to the last read rather than the last posted. Anyway, try it. Can't hurt. If you want to go back to the more thread titles per page index, click the box with three bars in it. Who remembers the Clippings feature? So here it was. It was fabulous. For the frosting I did 1/4 c lightly salted softened butter creamed with 4 oz softened cream cheese. Then added 3 c confectioners sugar, the zest of 1 orange and the juice from half the orange. I refrigerated overnight to allow flavor to develop. Then I made the cake the following morning. I added the juice from the remaining half of the orange to soften the frosting before frosting the cake. For the cake I just did my standard gluten free yellow cake and added the zest and juice of 1 orange at the end of prep.
