Good. Houzz sent me instructions to reset my PW.

So on iPad, I can sign in.

I hope others who got the sorry message are also squared away.

Now, unless it’s fixed, there is the problem that I and others are having with certain devices such as being at a particular forum, say The Kitchen Table, but not being able to post to that very forum. With my iPhone running iOS 18.1.1 I get this problem. Also, I noticed yesterday that the formatting options (B, I, bulleted or numbered lines) were missing. I suspect that was an oversight by one of the improvement programmers.

Another problem was/is that some members suddenly had their message go POOF! while composing or before they could publish. This happens if I type a couple of hyphens or dashes at the beginning of a line. I think with periods as well. POOF!

Looks like it worked, however, I did not see any cross-posting options.

Wonder I they could fix the works so that I can use my Voice to Text (Siri). That would be great.

It would be great if they fixed the input so that it would allow me and others to use Apple’s Voice to Text (Siri). When I forget or try to create a message with the Siri dictation program, it just makes a mess.

Example: I will dictate the bolded sentence above. Below in italics is the result.

I have had 'garden web' log on book marked on my lap top for well over 20 years. It will not let me log in. I get a 'check your filters' message. For a few weeks if I just kept clickin on the 'sign in' the bell would appear (even when it said I could not log in) and I was IN and could through the bell get to my posts and then onto the sites with in Houzz I like to read. Now nothing. I can use my log in through the Houzz icon on the top left, the bell appears,I can read the subjects as they come down but if I click on one to go to that thread POOF I am no longer logged in and cannot comment. IT'S MADDENING. I am here on an account from my work google account. I am logging on on my lap top from home. NO ISSUES!! This is not ME this is a HOUZZ issue. I have been offered NO HELP and yes I have emailed directly over it. All I get is a standared "check y our blah blah blah' !!

Seems odd that you folks are having so much trouble.

I haven't needed to log-in for years. I never log-out, simply close the browser when done. I access on my computer, not a phone or other such device, by typing in URL ths.gardenweb.com.

HU-7871, that is what happens to me now as well.

The Houzz program is buggy. I thought my issues were fixed, but they wer not. There are others this issue is keeping from signing in and even when signed in, they encounter bugs and get locked out of certain menus.

Read on past the, messages from yesterday, where I say that I must have spoken too soon. Still lots of problems. It is Houzz, not the forum members.

I hope you get some responses and help. Re-setting one’s password is not a comprehensive fix.

I can reply but still can't create a new post using my phone.

Petalique - I am back in! I don't know to what degree but I can now comment and hit submit without getting that dreaded "Sorry...." message.

That’s great. I don’t know how you did it. Did Houzz get back to you and have you re-set your password?

I have found it only sometmes fixes some things. Read my comments on this link.

I did have to reset my password which allows me to be here. But now I'm locked out of my "Your Houzz" account which I wasn't before otherwise I would have sent you a private message thanking you.

I somehow finagled an indirect way into mine and I an now leaving it be.

It was very late last night, so I am not sure how I stmbled upon it, but I kept trying to get to my My Houzz from different places.

IIRC, I thnks what I did was find a OLD thread where I had posted , opened it and tested to see if I could enter from that old opened post while I was signed in.

Can you locate one of your oler posts or threads? I have a way of saving some of mine (and it turnes out they are ” live.” who knew?
