I'm so HAPPY!
Comments (3)I'm mainly a lurker...but I feel your excitement! Good deal! My local greenhouse has some pretty good sized ones for 35$. I may crack and buy one. I bought a "unique" though and I would have to put the limelight right beside it where I also have two of the new forever's there as well. Sigh....Maybe I need to add some beds around my house....nice big hydrangea beds. :)...See MoreOh my goodness, I'm so happy to find you!
Comments (10)Hi Kelli~A few years ago I found these folks and they helped me along the way as I planned my Ozarks gardens...still have so much to learn, but one thing you can count on ...they are always there for you and they are the most encouraging and supportive group on the Gardenweb! I had to to move away for a while and spent some time in the northeast and tried to hook up with those folks, but is just wasn't the same...now I am in the Pacific and where do I still go?? Back to the Ozarks (where I hope to return one day)...and I am still drawing on their sense of family and knowledge... You'll love it here and will learn a lot ......See MoreSan Diego County Fires
Comments (10)Hi everyone! Thanks for the messages, and I'm glad to read that Carol and AM are safe and sound! Carol, I talked w/a friend who lives in Temecula today, and he's worried about being surrounded by the fires. I hope the winds die down up by you and the fires are under control soon. Here are a few photos of what happened to our property. We're so lucky that nothing major happened to the house. It's too soon to tell if our pool equipment is messed up from all that soot/ash going through it, but that can be repaired over time. We still don't have water service, but hopefully we will tomorrow or Friday. A lot of Ramona homes are without electricity still, including my Mom's place. So, residents won't be allowed back until those two things are repaired. Take care, everyone, and I'll try to post more photos later. -Melissa Before the Witch Fire of 10/21/07: After the Witch Fire of 10/21/07:...See MoreI'm so happy!!
Comments (9)Lydia, we're slow, too. And messy--good grief, are we ever! He really wanted to do it all yesterday, but by the time he picked up my paint samples and went to Lowe's for the paint, there just wasn't time. I was going to call Habitat to take that big king-sized bed, but the painter said he'd be happy to have it. So that's all taken care of, too. Nita, I'm so glad you and Carol will be able to come again! You're both so much fun. I sure hope the weather is better than it was last year. Remember how cold and rainy it was? Ick! Maybe Joann fl and her DH and JoanMN/FL and her DH will be able to join us this year. Paint really does make it seem like a brand new house and I'm so relieved the colors turned out right. Harry thought they were a little dark and I told him to trust me. Whew, so glad he likes them. Today he's painting our bedroom and bath. The brown even when dried doesn't seem really dark. Hope Harry is as pleased with it as with the other. Thanks for all the happy wishes. It's just such a relief to have it all done....See More- 11 months ago
