Comments (7)jynxed: Nope, we have repainted our house many times LOL! I get inspired, paint, live with it until I get inspired again! LOL! But, the colors you see now have been there for aat least 3 years or so! Sassymnmom: I just got back from the nursery with my flowers and vines. We have still been getting frosts in the morning, so I have hesitated to do anything. The only flowers I use are in window boxes, as there is ALOT of landscaping, and I don't think we need to add to it... plus, it gets expensive, KWIM? I'll post pics after I put the boxes up and things start filling in! Oh, and I did restain my golden oak, but have since painted it LOL!! I know, can't sit still.... here is that project (which hasn't budged since our trip to Mexico last month): before: after stain... featuring Dixie: after paint... in porgress: Thanks for your advice guys!...See MoreI See My Post is One That Has Disappeared
Comments (2)Sometimes one's message may disappear when one doesn't put enough post-age on it. But that often doesn't happen, as the post office usually returns it to the sender to have more post-age added. o j...See MoreI am so upset! I've tried to post twice about my fireplace. Disappears
Comments (12)Well it's a done deal! However I am going to have to be in on the layout of the template on the stone. I reserved enough stone for my island and they have that set aside but have only ONE slab left. And that one has a 2 x 4 ft chunk out of it. There were at least ten from this lot left in January. So...I guess it will be what it is. Beth, I know, that small piece is a chunk out of the lighter part of the slab and in the lighting in the LR it looks much lighter. I do love the swirls of the darker gray however and on the last slab its going to be touchy getting it not to look like a black and white cookie ;) The lighter parts have a little tan color and it just looks dirty, so... Anyway thanks again for cheering me on and I am so glad to have made the decision. With GW help! They should have it installed by the end of the month so I will post pics when its all finished....See MoreMy post disappeared
Comments (10)Tidewater Elf is one of the most robust daylilies in the garden. Zombie Dust's pattern is not showing today. This is its first year to bloom so I don't know if it ever shows much pattern. The color is lighter than it is described in the database. I have to post Empire of Dawn and Dusk today. I have posted this in previous years. It is a future registration hopefully. The bud count and branching have improved dramatically this year. Bud counts are as high on some scapes as 30. It also show instant rebloom. The color is a little pinkish today. The seedling Queen is Lady Stephanie Victoria Redding X Tet. Rose F. Kennedy. I posted her sibling the other day. It is a softer color and more rounded in shape. The seedling Princess is Daddy's Heart X Spacecoast Perfect Angel. We hope this is a future introduction. It is a small flowered tet. It has a metallic gold edge. It started out slow this spring but has been growing well now. I hope this post doesn't disappear. Nancy...See More- last monthlast modified: last month
