Could it just be a glitch? There are a group of people here who are just about universally liked and you are definitely part of that group. Can't imagine anyone flagging you.

There are some "trigger" words that are searched for in the OP that seem to get buy in subsequent posts. So it may be that for some reason it's been auto-deleted. If you can still see the thread under your activity, but others can't see it, that's what happened.

Sometimes one's message may disappear when one doesn't put enough post-age on it. But that often doesn't happen, as the post office usually returns it to the sender to have more post-age added. o j

I saw your post this morning, and now I can't find it--was going to comment. I am so sorry you're getting this kind of "welcome back" from Houzz. I only post 3 or 4 photos at a time, and I try to not have any text with the photos. If I get the dratted window telling me something went wrong, I ignore it. Then back click to the roses threads, then forward back onto the thread I was posting on. My photos always magically are there, in spite of their ridiculous "something went wrong window". It's crazy. I don't know what the issue is. The other two were about the same subject. An "injection" that's been found for pancreatic cancer at the University of Kentucky. I thought it was interesting. Maybe an anti "injection" person didn't like that I posted them? Anyway, if you want to read about it, you can go to Lex 18 news site and scroll down a little bit on the page. I find this stuff facinating.

The HOUZZ update made things worse in my opinion. With my iphone w iOS 18.1.1 I cannot post but only discern this after I have composed and ready to publish.

I almost do not dare upgrde my other devices for fear of being unable to post.

And, caveat⚠️ last week I discovered an oddity in a posted note. A hyperlink that I did not purposely enter but that was created, unbeknownst to me, by my dry fingers not leaving a space between the period at the end of a sentace followed by the first letter of the following sentence.

❗️As I went to correct the missing space typo, the hyperlink became activated and I was taken to a webpage _______.com that had the name of an entity which did not exist ( via searching and also searching wilipedia.

I took a screenshot of the site, but even in my photo album, the Apple OS activated the site name in the PHOTO of the URL field. (Apple smart software is designed to do this and one can opt out — the issue was that I HAD NOT INTENTIONALLY put a link or hyperlink, but just neglected to enter a space after the period at the end of a sentence)

If I post the frank details here, I am afraid someone will/might (as I did) accidentally bump them and go to that peculiar site. (sort of like an image of planet earth, the name of the link, and nothing else.

If I write the name of the website, be sure you don’t mistakenly do there.

I do not know how to reach ”EMILY” of HOUZZ.

Any techy members want the data, images, etc.?

⚠️Houzz has been buggy and glitchy and some of us (floral, Neely of Cooking forum) cannot post because where we want to post is not given by default, and is not offered in the list of post and cross-post option.

❗️This is a software programming oversite. ❗️most likely from very i experienced (low cost) programmers. ⚠️I do NOT count on the HOUZZ site and forums to be SAFE.

Anyone, Please let me know how to contact EMILY. However, I m not sure she will be aware enough about the software issue to understand or to adequately convey the technical problem to the programmers. This is not to disparage her, only to state that understanding and addressing the problem requires some level of experience ( such a technical writer might have) or techical curiousity or acumen to grasp a simple but technical problem.

Petalique that hyperlink issue has been around forever. Most common that I’ve seen is when a space is missing between a period the word ”it” starting the next sentence. It’s not just this site.

I don't have any trouble such as you describe ... but I use a computer to post. An OLD computer running Win 7 and Firefox (the last ESR [extended support release] of Firefox that works on Win 7).
