This is a screen shot of a reel, it won't play, but I thought the text was so funny. It seems to be true in some of my friend circles that us oldsters still do all the cooking and prep for holidays and gatherings and so many GenX, Xenials and Millenials just show up to gather and eat.

angelaid, yours reminded me of a convo I had with GF the other day about she and my Mom both being "people pleasers". I said how it would annoy me to see Mom bend over backwards to please others, but when she was doing it to please me, it didn't bother me so much!

(When I had to change first letter in "this", it did it O.K. - but when I changed the last letter and didn't hit "space" and "delete" - it ddidisdisadisapdisappdisappedisappeadisappeardisappearedisappeareddisappeared).

(didn'didn't hit "space" after my period - sorry, ladies).

(When I did the edit there were three lines of "disappeared" - eenendendiendinending in the c9mplete word, plus bracket and period).
