Good morning and a Happy Undead Understanding Day to all! I’m over the moon with myself as I think I have this one. I’m heading out to feed the chickadees and supervise my husband with plowing the snow. It looks glorious out there. Have a great day!

Thanks, Jasdip.

I think it’s so funny that I usually miss the obvious with these puzzles - because, IRL I am usually pretty sharp. I didn’t get this one either, Like murraysmom I usually just wait around for Jasdip’s answer - which I might add I usually need a bit of spelling out to understand too. murraysmom and I think alike on these puzzles - as well as on some other topics here on KT! 😁

@murraysmom Zone 6a OH - No, Bran is not the answer - it’s Raisin Bran! The ”clue” is the raised N. That was the idea that ”floated” up to me after mulling it over most of my day. @roxsolid - my ’floated up’ comment could have been a hint but totally unintentional on my part. Regarding @foodonastump ’not a hint’ to floral but just ”state the possibility that she might not be familiar with it.” he was referring to Kellogg’s Sultana bran cereal - it’s what UK & Australia eat instead of Raisin Bran that US/Canada has. I had to look that point up. I had never seen the Will Shat commercial for Raisin Bran. That’s why I like these puzzles - I learn so many new things! Really! 😁

foas - you’re East Coast, yes? From West Coast, I know I’ve heard the term ’starters’ for a first course in a more formal dinner or even listed that way on menus. But, apps, the more casual word, is what first comes to mind for me. We definitely say four-uh-ners. A very different sound for the ’IN’ part of inners. My birthplace is MT & I spent adolescence & teen years in AK so I don’t think I have a typical regional accent or speech pattern. A person once told me I sounded like I came from NY. Didn’t say which part but I think that’s the MT influence.

Wow. Never in a million would I get that one. I was trying to make a flower / rabbit /garden connection with rox’s clues. However, I did immediately figure out foas wasn’t calling anyone a name & meant to key in ”hints” not bints. It’s the Qwerty keyboard layout that tipped me off. Interesting that ’bints’ is an actual word for UK - I never heard it used anywhere I’ve been in US.

I have an idea and, if correct, I may do a somersault.

Jasdip, we did get a really good snowfall finally! Not as much as Calgary, though. Our temps have dipped into the minus 15-20 C range and it certainly looks like winter is here to stay.

tsug, somersaults are easy when there is no gravity!

Maybe…..

(full disclosure, this is my third time coming back to it….had no idea ’til just now!)

Letters, are you still in Florida?

No, back in the Boston area. We'll go back down for a quick week in mid-Dec., then for the season in Jan., until sometime in May. I envy your love of winter -- despite growing up in New England, it's just never been my thing. I can never be too warm!!

letters, that sounds like a wonderful schedule! Great for golfing. Lucky you.

Hmm….Boston and Florida. Both good hints for this puzzle, I think. 🤔

Anyhoo, most have probably come up with something by now.

Hope your day is a blast. 😉

Oh, Jasdip, I know. 😔 I have a big mouth. I can’t help it.

I was always the kid in class that had my arm in the air going ”ooh, ooh, ask me” whether I knew the answer or not.

LOL I’m like Sue on SNL

Anyhow, I’ll try to zip it and I hope others just scroll on by me. Sorry.

I’m sure everybody got it without any help from me. I need an intervention.🤐

Thanks, Jasdip

I missed it, so my back is spared the somersault. Thanks, Jasdip.

Got it, thanks (eventually) to rox’s moon and gravity hints! Didn’t even occur to me she was doubling down by asking if I was still in FL, but I played right into it! Quite the comedic team we make…😄

Thanks, Jasdip!
