I’m surprised about the allowance answer - I thought kids did still get spending money on regular basis - maybe they do but it’s not handed out on a set schedule & set amount but given as asked or needed. Too bad - means they’re not teaching money management habits to kids.

@Jasdip - you’re a great host to accomodate my eating habits! I’m not vegetarian but do lean to highly plant based & only meat is white - chicken or fish maybe couple times a month.
