I'm mildly surprised no one guessed it.

Many of us remember this from our childhood. Now just under half of parents do this with their kids. What is it?

A: Give them allowance.

This weekend's question is one that definitely surprised me.

Younger people (18-25) are 4 times more likely than older people to do this while watching TV or a movie. What is it?

My guess is same as petalique - watch with a device in hand.

I’m surprised about the allowance answer - I thought kids did still get spending money on regular basis - maybe they do but it’s not handed out on a set schedule & set amount but given as asked or needed. Too bad - means they’re not teaching money management habits to kids.

@Jasdip - you’re a great host to accomodate my eating habits! I’m not vegetarian but do lean to highly plant based & only meat is white - chicken or fish maybe couple times a month.
