Back in the day, we had an orange tabby and so did our neighbor. Both Toms. They barely tolerated each other. But in the winter, they would climb the tree next to our house, get up on our roof and each cuddle up on one side of the chimney or the other. One day, a neighbor asked us if the cats on our roof were ceramic. My Mom said no, they're real. The neighbor said, "Oh good. I couldn't imagine who'd keep climbing up on the roof to move them!"

This lady nose how to keep her mouth shut! How can we encourage some folks, perhaps some politicians, to follow her example? Especially in these days when real facts are so hard to sort out - are they becoming something of an endangered species?
