Anyone else having trouble logging in?
Comments (15)I'm guessing that you saw the What's New at GW Message and then went to the link...Login and Profile Issues Posted DEc 28th: For login issues: Sometimes your browser's cookie file can become corrupt and it can be helpful to delete it and restart your browser. More information on how to do this can be found here. Please give us a detailed description of your issue. If you can't login, a step-by-step account of what you do to login is crucial. On what forum or page are you logging in? Where is the link on the page that you are using? What error message do you receive? Can you login on any other pages or is it just in one specific area?"Some of the links to login are not working properly and will cause a page error when you try to sign in. If this happens, use the login link found at the very top of the page. It is located in the green bar next to the GardenWeb logo and says, 'Log in'. You can also log in using this url - http://www.gardenweb.com/auth/login.htm Then Jan 6th, this was added: " Some of the links to login are not working properly and will cause a page error when you try to sign in. I'm not having log-in issues, but am having Profile issues, which I have reported and they are working on. I'm sure that is taking a back seat though to those who are still having "log in" issues....See MoreAnyone else having a really hard time logging in ?

Comments (10)Yes, this is from a brand new Firefox installation (83.0): The only thing I did, after opening it up and getting "Welcome to Firefox" page was go to https://www.gardenweb.com/discussions and click sign in. No adblocker, no extensions of any kind. A week or so ago I logged out to do a test and had problems getting logged back in on the gardenweb side. I was able to log into the houzz side. The only way I got back in was by copy cookies from another machine. Logging into a Windows machine on which I had been logged into gardenweb, I found I was no longer logged it and couldn't get back in. I don't use Windows much so gave up. A few days later I started Windows up to discover I was suddenly logged in without doing anything. I think it's because the techs are trying to juggle two domains, two sets of content pages, two sets of style sheets, one (or two?) user databases, and... whatever else. Personally, for now I wouldn't log out once you get logged in. (clearing cookies also logs you out)...See More- last year
