Apparently I did fracture my shoulder when I fell

in Edinburgh in April! I got a letter from the head nurse practioner's office at the hospital I went to, a couple days ago, to call them about my test results ( an x-ray). So, I called them just now and apparently they looked at it and didn't see a break but then a few days later an actual radiologist looks at it and they saw a small fracture.

I'm 61 and this is my first ever bone fracture. I really need to do some strengthening exercises because I fall too much. I have fallen alot, even in my 20s.

I was still in a lot of pain and so last week went to my clinic here and they put me on a short prednisone taper and it has really helped with the pain and for the first time since my fall am able to lift my arm above my head. Haven't had to take Tylenol for the past few days either. Still hurts but not like it was. The N.P. here had another round of x-rays done and they didn't see the break so it's probably healed now. The N.P. in Scotland told me it was small and would heal on it's own.
