I have a large gray sectional and currently have a rectangular leather ottoman. It’s from my previous family room and the wrong color. Although I love being able to put my feet up, I decided to go with these nesting tables. I like how the round table will open up the space and I’ll be able to pull out the other table when I have friends over. Hammary nesting tables. They were pretty inexpensive too.

Hello Sarah, I think the beauty of having such a neutral space is that you could really do any color or style you like for a coffee table. I think a more contemporary style coffee table would be great with the rug, but it also depends what your other furniture in the room looks like. For instance, the color and style of an entertainment center or side table/s. Below are a few I think could look great. Congrats on the new house and have fun with all the decorating!

I wouldnt have a coffee table, I would use two small ottomans that could be used with the chair or sofa. and have two small end tables. move the round end table to the left side of the chair.
