mtnrdredux, I will definitely have better pictures for the listing! downsouth the old white ceiling fan in the dining room is replaced w/ a brand new nicer white one w/ a pretty light. I just swapped those out about 2 weeks ago. The bedrooms were painted and I switched out the doors in the master bedroom from an old slider to one of those new doors w/ the blinds between the glass. But the bedrooms are just kind of plain bedrooms, not really worth taking pictures of (although I'll obviously put the master up for the listing) bonnieann925, we are in Clearwater (Tampa/St. Pete/Clearwater area). I really like it here. Lots of happy hour dinner specials and fun beach restaurants, plus fancier places in Tampa and a lot to do. The beaches are very nice too, we've been to a lot of different areas in FL and I like Clearwater Beach best of the places we have been. gooster, yea that chandelier is over a little sitting area, which is kind of goofy looking. But that room is pretty dark to begin w/ so I don't want to get rid of the light. That whole room, with the dining table and that lounge chair, I just don't see the point of. I don't know what you're supposed to do w/ that room really since we already have a living room/dining area and the sunroom. I guess you could put a TV room in there but it is too big and awkwardly laid out. That area is where I would have moved the kitchen into if I was staying. I'm not sure where you mean to move the patio furniture to? I will have to move that around for showings, right now it is just pushed against the walls b/c the dogs can climb up on the arms of the sofa and see lizards in the eves when it is arranged a certain way. Then they just bark and bark at the lizards they can't reach (that they want to eat!) Seems like there is a consensus that I need to do something in that kitchen area. I will see if my handyman can find/put up some shelves for me!

Thank you justgotabeme! It is true, we find ourselves in the FRONT of the house quite often! The first evening, we poured cocktails and just sat out front and stared. We are very pleased! CEfreeman-Ohhh, what a long, peaceful country driveway that is! I wouldn't want it to look too "maintained!" Hi Lyfia! I posted quite awhile ago, I was very gung ho on the faux wood grain...as a matter of fact, I wanted to do a faux carriage door look, adding the rustic hardware. Most people were against it...and this was when I was planning on painting my house a dark color. Now that my house is so light, I don't want a big dark expanse that takes up such a huge chunk of the front. If my house were bigger, or the paint darker,I would consider it. I do love that look, just not for this house at this time. birdlover-yes, we are thinking two big black pots on either side of the arch...and maybe on the far side of the garage...with bougainvilla or some flowering vine set on a trellis just a bit off from the house walls so they don't actually grow on the walls! The reason we are thinking black pots is...when you drive to our house, you first see the south side of it...with a row of windows with black awnings over each window. So we feel the big black pots will tie the side and the front together. lukkiriish-thank you, I just love those california spanish homes! Thanks for comparing my home to one of those! Thanks carol!! I'm a fast reader & not everyone is so many get annoyed with my long texts. My fiancé the most- lol- it means a lot to have your help! I'll let u know when I post my projects. I'll prob post all at once to give an idea of where I'm at. Then, start with one project. I need a day or so to get it all together. Also, I can't stand to say but I have severe adult adhd & don't take meds for it bc I'm a recovering addict. I have to work with it, which will definitely show ( if it hasn't already- lol ) once I start posting my plans, wishes & projects. It is extremely hard, close to impossible for me to stick to one project & work only on it until it's finished bc then, my mind can't see the whole picture plus, my body won't allow it. It's a terrible character defect I have & challenging when I'm gardening but I do get things completed :) I'll prob name the thread *My Florida garden projects* or something Like that - your right , It does take time & is extremely rewarding :) I enjoy gardening & landscaping! I have no experience or background in it besides my own personal trial n error. I'm just a junkie that loves flowers! 18 mo in par helped me kick the habit & 6 years later gardening plays a big role in keeping me clean! My passion started w/1 thought. My thought was, how come everytime I buy a beautiful flowering plant, I kill it . This thought drove me to learn all I could ab gardening & started my passion. I've learned so much since then & still learning . I live, eat & breath gardening! Its exciting & rewarding. I learn something new everyday. It's a passion I keep close to my heart bc it helps keep me clean & humble on a daily basis & Im thankful for that

Hi @turtlexings24, Thanks for the compliment. I am very happy with my GC. Folks on here probably won't think it was wise but...It was me. I GC'd and designed our bath renovation after striking out with about a dozen others. It was stressful but nothing I couldn't handle. Gannt charts, spreadsheets, and research kept things organized. My job is flexible enough to allow me to wfh and adjust my schedule as needed so I was here for every subcontractor and inspector. We did hire an advisor/project manager who connected us with all the subcontractors we needed, Home Improvement Partners. Troy was great and saved us a ton of time hunting for all the individual professionals we needed.
