Flooring Design Dilemma

Flooring Color Advice

I’m having a heck of a time trying to find an LVP that is simply a light to medium brown with no gray tones. The grays in all the samples I bring home clash with my cinnamon hickory cabinets. If anyone has any suggestions of where to look, I would greatly appreciate it.

For the kitchen? And what is the surrounding area and its flooring?

Hickory is so busy usually that it is hard to work with even with real wood. Can we see the kitchen and is this flooring only in the kitchen ? I agree we need pics please . Post them in a comment here DO NOT start another post .

Okay…paint color for North light and the upholstery is what is important. Disregard the color of the floors because a rug would be in order. This is B.M. Mirage White (SW should be able to match it, but if you have a B.M. store, go there). North light needs a lilac gray and your chair seat is perfect for this color. As for the floor, all that is needed is a hint of its color.

A dark floor is a bear to keep looking clean. It shows every speck. Like, the biggest PITA. For that reason alone I recommend a lighter wood floor. I don’t like the lighter one you show. The knots look odd. The overdone knots do not go with that counter. Your discussion about paint colors should be off the table until everything else is in. Paint is last.
