Desperately seeking oversized king flat sheets

Desperately in search of a good quality, cool sleeping flat sheet that will fit and actually allow me to tuck in to a king-size matress thatthat’s a little over 18” deep. By my calculations, a 112” sheet will just barely fit to the bottom of the mattress without tucking, and thats ass no shrinkage. Ideally, I’d like to get a sheet that’s at least 118” wide. And yes, i do like to tuck even though the oversized duvet (which I will also hopefully find as well!) would cover, just because :)

I will never, ever understand how linen companies can sell extra deep fitted sheets for 18”+ mattresses, but then have a 110” or less wide flatsheet! I’m almost at the point of looking for a deep pocket king fitted sheet and a Wyoming or Alberta king flat sheet (but those are few and far between as well).

Thank you all for your input. i really wanted to stay away from Amazon, Etsy, and eBay, since I’ve been burned in the past and don’t really trust reviews.

After spending all afternoon going down the Internet rabbit hole, i finally landed on an Australian company called Mulberry Threads. They offer bamboo sheets (which was my preference) with a 19” deep fitted sheet and 120” wide top sheet.

Keeping my fingers crossed that they’re decent quality, but at least if they’re not some of my payment goes toward saving the reefs, lol!

I just looked on “Ebay”, typed in: oversized king flatsheet, and lots of choices popped up for you to choose from.

I just installed KM antique oatmeal w/ ebony glaze. I LOVE them!! I was reluctant about my decision, but I am very happy with my choice. There are portions of the cabinets where the ebony glaze is more prevalent, but that is what I like about them. It gives them a more Old World feel. I will have to say that are more whitewashed looking than I expected. They look much darker in the KM idea book. You will have to be careful when picking paint colors and countertops. I went with Silestone-black canyon for the cabinets. Granite didn't work for me. The island will be antique onyx cabinets with a butcherblock counter. I really don't have much to show yet as just the cabinets are in, no counters, molding or appliances. I bought a majority of my cabinets at the KM outlet in Lordstown, OH for a steal. I'm not sure I would have paid the extra $$. Hope this helps.

IF you can find them anywhere, Rivolta Carmignati cotton sheets made in Italy are the crispest, lightest sheets I've ever found. And I found them in a bin in a thriftstore! An entire bin filled with these sheets. I had no idea what they were; if I had, I've have bought the entire bin at $1 each. I bought several flat sheets and a duvet to die for. Not until later, when I found a tag and looked it up, did I realize what they are. Other than these, I have Ralph Lauren and Thomas O'Brien, all cotton that I really like, but they really don't compare to the Italian cotton. Here is a link that might be useful: Rivolta Carmignati

If you have a Costco in your area, or you can order from costco.com, they have Kirkland Signature 600TC king flat sheets (as part of their sheet sets) that are 111 x 111, and the fittted sheets are generous enough to handle large thick mattresses. My DD has these and loves them. Best of all, Costco stands behind whatever they sell. I've bought too many sheets elsewhere that pill and end up getting rid of them. They also sell other brands online, but I don't think they're quite as generously sized, but haven't cked on those thoroughly.

It's just been a week but it's working great. I'm just a bit over 6 feet but I'm a side sleeper. A Cal King is 84 inches long, a standard King is 80. I don't wedge my pillow against the headboard and have my head on the bottom edge of the pillow so my feet go beyond the 80 inch length. I didn't realize how much more comfortable the standard king would be, not only the added width but also the added comfort of not having the side of my feet resting on the mattress. We bought it at Macy's and there's a 120 day exchange policy. We've found a lot of low quality sheets in better quality stores. We have a few old sets left over from before the bed we just replaced, that we're using until we find new ones we like. I was typing when lindsey made her post - she's right. We can't sleep on a queen, it's not wide enough. My wife is small and moves around a lot - I'm larger.

Like the others suggested you just need the correct search terms. Oversized King sheets turned up quite a few hits and the size is 132x110 and 132x120 seems to be the most common oversized sizes.

Do as you like, but I have found no better, no more crispy cool sheets that come out of a dryer needing nothing but smooth and fold!

Not one client doesn't love them. .....and prefer them over sheets far more expensive.

You'd like to tuck and "Just because"? I'd hardly give up really great smooth , cool, sheets that wash really nicely, at a great value. I would freak out if not comfortable in bed, just because I could tuck!!!

You spend a lot more time sleeping than staring under a duvet cover or coverlet.
